Three childhood friends who are best buddies in real life pull an elaborate prank that goes wrong. To get out of the mess, they create an imaginary Ricky Stanicky. The trio uses Ricky Stanicky, a non-existent character to cover up their inexperienced behavior twenty years after the prank went wrong. When their partners and spouses become suspicious and insist on meeting the legendary Mr. Stanicky for the first time, the trio hires a drunken actor to play him.
