Dune: Part Two continues where Dune: Part One left off, with Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) and Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) having narrowly avoided death through dueling, joining Stilgar (Javier Bardem)'s Fremen and including Chani (Zendaya), an unknown female figure that appeared in Paul's visions, within their ranks. Paul must discover a means of fulfilling Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgard) while at the same time preventing an all-out holy war that his visions suggested was coming, in order to fulfil his father's wishes and bring peace and stability on Arrakis - whilst fulfilling Leto Atreides (Oscar Isaac). With Baron Harkonnen now ruling Arrakis with an iron fist following Duke Leto Atreides coup attempt and then following through with it following coup attempt, Paul must find ways of fulfilling both wishes while fulfilling Leto Atreides coup attempt and reign through it.
