Princess Sophia (Paige Sandhu), Princess of Punjab and Goddaughter of Queen Victoria, played an essential role in leading the British suffragette movement when living there in 1883. A century later in Southall West London in 1990s Mehak Kaur (Aditi Rao Hydari), an educated immigrant woman faced with her own set of unique obstacles resides; Mehak Kaur faces her own particular obstacles that require resolution in her daily life.
